Sylwia Paszek is a legal adviser and a member of the Life Science and Regulatory Law Practice Group.
She specialises in pharmaceutical law, medical products law, and food law. She also deals with regulatory requirements for other consumer products concerning product quality, production, certification, labelling, market authorisation rules, sales and advertising, as well as administrative law requirements for conducting business in specific industries.
She advises on introduction of specific products onto the Polish market as well as undertaking particular types of activity. She represents clients during inspections conducted by state administration agencies (such as trade and sanitation authorities) and helps them to select optimal measures to minimise the negative effects of compliance problems. She conducts proceedings involving withdrawal of products from the market.
She handles regulatory issues related to provision and reimbursement of healthcare benefits by the national health service, and permissible forms for conducting such activity.
She participates in projects involving drafting commercial contracts and legal audits of companies.
Sylwia Paszek is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk (2000) and completed postgraduate work in medical law, bioethics and sociology of medicine at the University of Warsaw (2010).
In 2000–2005 she cooperated with Tri-City law firms In 2005–2008 she worked in the Business Development Division of Zakłady Farmaceutyczne Polpharma S.A. in Starogard Gdański, where she negotiated and drafted licensing agreements necessary for expanding the company’s product line, as well as regulatory issues related to introduction of medicinal products onto the market.
She is a member of the Chamber of Legal Advisers in Bydgoszcz.
She has cooperated with Wardyński & Partners since 2008.
